Trash and Recycling

Reminder: Avoid any potential collection issues. Please place ACCESSIBLE trash AND recycling bins close to the curb by 7am on your scheduled day. 

For elderly residents who are unable to place bins out on the curb, Casella offers assistance. For further guidance, please contact our office at (508) 764-5354. 

 

Municipal Curbside OPT-OUT feature is currently unavailable on the Town's main page. 

Property Owners shall have an opportunity to opt-out of the Municipal Curbside program during the month of May (LAST DAY 31St). This will be for the 1st quarter (July-September) and CANNOT opt out of the current quarter. 


If you would like to opt in, please contact the Curbside Department at 508-764-5354.


Collection includes trash, recycling and yard waste pick up with access to the leaf and yard waste dumpster located at the Department of Public Works for FISCAL 2026 (specific hours may apply).

Additional Curbside Pick Up Information: 

  • The Town of Southbridge’ s contractor for Municipal trash, recycling and yard waste collection is Casella Waste Systems. Any questions, concerns or complaints about collection please contact the Curbside Department at (508) 764-5354.
  •  Recycling is mandatory. Contact your hauler (Municipal or Private) for a recycling bin and educational literature.
  •  For Bulk pick up please consider donating the item, contact any licensed hauler or Casella at (800) 227-3552. See  Bulk Item Price List 2026.pdf
  •  Limited amount of Compost bins are available for $25.00. Cash or Check payable to the Town of Southbridge. Contact (508) 764-5354 for additional information.
